- How soon will my exam be scheduled?
The exam with be scheduled within 24 hours of referral. Generally, appointments are scheduled two to three weeks from the date of referral as required by Ohio BWC law.
- Can I choose the physician?
Yes. If you choose our enhanced services, you may browse our panel and choose the physician that best suits your needs. If you would like to use a physician not listed on our panel, we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
- How much does an exam cost?
Exam prices will vary by physician, type of exam, specialty, and type of service. As a general rule, exams cost between $500 and $700 for a physical exam and $600 to $1200 for a psychological exam. Peer Reviews generally cost between $300 and $600. For our regular clients, we will be happy to arrange a set pricing system to meet your needs.
- How soon will I have a Peer Review report?
Nearly all of our Peer Reviews are returned within 10 days of receipt of the medical file. We are willing to work with your needs, and should a rush situation arise, we can have a report back within 24 hours. Please note that for a rush review additional charges may apply.
- Where and how do I send the medical records?
All medical records should be sent to the Columbus office. Medical records can be mailed, faxed, emailed, or we will arrange a schedule for courier pick-up of medical files in the Columbus area. Please see the contacts section for the contact information. We welcome medical sent as digital copies (burned to a disc or emailed), physical copies (mailed or faxed), and original files-in which case, we will make copies of the original file and return it to you. Please note that the majority of physicians require the medical file several days prior to the date of the exam. To allow for processing, please submit medical at least 10 days prior to the date of the exam.
- Is there a charge for no-shows or for cancellations?
If the exam is rescheduled, there is no charge. However, if the exam is not rescheduled, there is a $25 fee. If an appointment is cancelled there is a cancellation fee of $25. For cancellations done before this point there is no charge.
